Dwina and others thank you for your prayers for my dad. I am like you Dwina that I spend more time trying to decide what I want to do than actually doing it. I find that as part of the fun too. You are NOT slow Dwina, because you have until the deadline date. Others are just fast. lol.... Everyone is different. If everyone sent theirs out on the first day then what would we look at the rest of the month? Although we are notorious for posting lots of fun pictures for all to see besides the swap pics.

I keep saying that all the time about the bad luck. So I was out for 4 hours doing yard sales and got lots of stuff. Most of which I'm sure I didn't need. I did get 8 skeins of yarn for $2 but my best bargain was 10 Wade figurines for $.50. They usually sell from $2-4 each. They are the ones from England that come in the tea boxes. And I didn't see one sewing machine. It's a beautiful day here and only 68, but it will be warming up to 80 and 81 for the weekend. Dwina that's great about another boat. Did anyone hear about the 2 Amish kids that were kidnapped in NY near the Canadian border. I used to go up there at the beginning of the summer with my X SIL to pick up her foster child that she had for the summer and then would go back up before school to bring her back. I did see the Amish there and thought that was odd so far up there. Mary you are still having riots and looting. Well not you, good thing you don't live near there. I just heard that he had robbed a convenience store and punched the worker in the face and then went for the police's gun. Not the good little boy they said he was.

Pat my husband just read that the amish girls have been found, and are ok. I am so thankful for that.
I am sure we will hear a lot more of the looting things going on.

Purple for September and what's October and NOVEMBER???? I need to know November, I'm disgustingly always early. If I'm late, there's something wrong. I told my last boss that. they turned on the local news and found my car in a wreck on the expressway with me getting taken out of my car into an ambulance. so you see, If I'm late, something is really wrong. Just my nature. I know, i drive people crazy sometimes with my promptness.

I hope the prayers are working, and everyone's doing better.

Date night tonight. Movies...Let's be Cops, and italian dinner. I'll let you all know how it is.

I originally thought Halloween or Halloween colors for October. Any comments on that??? What would everyone like for November??? Please give me suggestions. I would like it to be a decision made by all not just me.

Karen I like the Halloween or Halloween colors for oct. If someone doesn't want a certain holiday they could say so on their form.Not everyone celebrates all holidays. I think last year November was thanksgiving. We could do fall colors this year maybe? Have a good evening all.

OK PINCUSHION and sewing friends..... I want to make some of the long pin decorative pins with the sparkley beads.... where do I find the long pins? I live very near a joannes, michaels, and hobby lobby....( WHAT section of a craft store would I find the pins)? They are so pretty and added touch to the pincushions.
