I love the look of everyone who posted pics. I hope mine come out that well. I have been busy practicing so they come out correctly. I am going to do either the amish diamond or arrow head puzzle unless they look really good I will do both.

I like the activity your block creates with the print on fabric, it is reminisient of some interesting l930-40 blocks but next time think about the size and scale of the print when combining fabrics that are strong visually. There are so many choices and some combinations work better than others. Moosegirl

I have to agree with the too busy. I had a hard time determining the pattern. Nice fabric but you need more contrast and value.

My red, white, and blue blocks are in the mail. My first block swap! I'm so excited.

I am going to eliminate one of the prints and use white instead. I was just trying to use fabrics on hand, it was worth a try.

I think these fabrics are from the 30's - 40's, not sure how old. Grandmothers and greatgms never threw anything away, so we have no idea how old some of the fabric in her closet is. But they sure are great.

They are all beautiful fabrics and I love your block. Those are really special fabrics. It is so nice that you are willing to share them with us.

This is a real 1930's block and it reminded me of your piece. Moosegirl

The placement of the fabric looks like little envelopes. :-)
