Smile My Wall Hanging is here!

I love it! Thank you Ube! She made me a beautiful Strawberry Bowl Wall hanging! It is unbelievable how small these pinwheels are and how precise. It is laying on top of my treadle base in my living room. A perfect place for such a little showcase. Further more there was a very kind note, the cutest tags, pen, some wonderful sunflower fabric, which I love, and the fun laundry line pattern she posted about previously. I got spoiled!!!!! As is always the picture does not do the wall hanging justice. It is even more beautiful in person. The blue is warm and dark and shows off the strawberry and crème pinwheel fabric really well. The quilting is impeccable and really adds to the quilt. The back is adorable too and I might post a picture later. It has one of the tiny pinwheels smack center all by its lonesome but it is rather stunning. Thanks again Ube!

Ube-That book case wall hanging sure found its home along with the wreath. It looks like the wreath fits right in with the table and chicken/rooster décor since it appears to have eggs on it.

Skaduzy- I am so glad you like the wall hanging and that it came quick. Enjoy! Thank you for your kind words.

OK guys here is the beautiful wallhanging that Jan Rutherford sent me. She has one as well hanging in her bedroom! And the adorable basket - I love baskets!
Mine went in my kitchen since the bottom half of my walls are a green very similar to the background of this piece. Thank you Jan!!!!

I make Dresden Kaleidsocopes and it is a fussy cut method. You cut out 10 blades and then sew them together to make a Dresden Plate with a Kaleidosccope look.

So this means you did not get to swap this time around? Oh I was wondering which wall hanging you send. Maybe next time the cows will leave the nice pastures up in Eastern Washington. LOL I am just hopeful. I would love to see how you decided to quilt those.

Also I had to chuckle. I saw a post something to the extend of quilting 7 quilts over a weeks time span and I just knew it was you with out seeing your name. Who else could do that and manage a holiday in there too? Super Quilter should be your name.

I will photo the cows again for you to see the quilting. I did lots of different backgrounds on the sheep themselves, but did a curved crosshatch for the pasture behind the cows.
Yeah, that was me. i did seven quilts this past weekend but did not get the boom top sewn yet. Cut up and ready. Did have company so that slowed me up. Had to be cordial. The fun part of those seven is that four of them are UFOs that needed done. Get to post some finishes
