    No squishies today.

I was really thinking how little I know about quilting as we did this exchange, but I feel that I have learned a lot. I love seeing the blocks posted, there are going to be some very nice quilts from this group!

I am working on a dress for my Granddaughter. My daughter found a picture of herself when she was two. She asked me if I could make a dress for her daughter just like it.

How funny, when she was little I loved making clothes for her, she was such a tomboy hated wearing dresses. Now she can't wait to get her daughter in the same dress.

I hope you will share a picture of the dress when you are done.

Just wanted to pop in as I often do on these swaps just to post a few gentle reminders :)
Please remember to check the size of your finished block. They should be 12.5" when you send them on home.
Also please do not forget to hold off on the heavy fragrances, perfumes or such to help those with allergies not be attacked my the meanies :)
Have fun and learn lots of new things!
Any questions as always send me a message!
    Hugs
    April

I am going to try to post pics of the wonderful blocks that came winging home. (My computer kicked me off once already...)

They are great additions to my growing stack of blocks for the spring quilt. Thanks so much!! You are all so creative.

Looking at the above pictures, they are all dark. Guess I will learn to take pics in the daylight for better results  All the blocks are very pretty, and my spring quilt is shaping up nicely.

I have received f8 from quiltin'gran and dungeonquilter. Still looking for f8 from brenda21 and deltadawn. I'll be checking the box early tomorrow. Hope, hope, hope! Then I will be stitching up a storm!

Love all the finished blocks made by the spring boomerangs!! Everyone is so creative. Got my 5 blocks cut so they will be ready to sew when we return home, the end of next week.

Still on vacation--it's cold up here in Oregon, especially since we live in north San Diego County where it's practically 70 year round, almost anyway! Way colder than we expected....it was 20 degrees the first morning and got up to 47; 18 degrees in the am, 38 at 10 am, and 51 in the afternoon; 20 again and up to 50 today-supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow and Friday.

While my husband has been fly fishing, I've been picking fabrics and cutting the pieces for a BOM I'm doing with one of my BFF's!! Nice to have the time to do this, since the hardest part about doing a BOM is choosing the fabrics from one's collection!! Does it take anyone else a lot of time to choose just the "right" fabric for each part of a BOM!??
