That Sister's Choice is beautiful! The quilting really puts it over the top! Love the variety of neutrals. The pattern looks pretty easy to figure out without a pattern, but I know there is one on Bonnie Hunter's blog. Thanks for sharing!

Can't wait to swap on Monday... so excited! Just waiting on the last two packages, which should be here by Monday.

Wow. It's even nicer up close. Thank you Obrienwv. This is now the front runner for my blocks. I'll need more neutrals though because I'm woefully short on them. Shame, it means a trip to the LQS for me. So sad. Not.

Whoopie! I'll clean my sewing desk tomorrow so I'll be ready when the squishy arrives. Thank you, Sewbiz!

The close up really show the beauty of this pattern!

So... How many of us now are going to use our 9-patches in Sister's Choice quilts?

I think I'm still going to sew my 9Ps together directly, but will probably do a Sister's Choice at some point down the road. It's really tempting me....

A couple of things: Your swap packages are all ready to go to the post office, waiting patiently for Monday. If you had change coming, it's in the package somewhere. It may be three quarters taped to the outside of one of your swap bags, so look. Next time I'm not doing change. If you send $8 I will consider it a donation to the tape and printer ink fund.

Also, you will see someone's name on each bag you got. Most of the blocks in the bag are from that person, but the last one or two in the bag may be from someone else. I had to mix them around that way to make the numbers come out right.

I sincerely hope I did not send anyone duplicates, but if you happen to find any, please be merciful! Shuffling around 1600 blocks is bound to include some goof ups!

I'm wondering if anyone who didn't make it into the swap was actually sewing 9Ps along with us? I invited several people to do so. I'll start a new sign up in about two weeks, and leave it open for two weeks. It will be the same swap repeated... colors in a checkerboard design. That way, if anyone is trying to get enough blocks to make a big quilt, they can just add those to what they have.

I hope everyone had as much fun as I did, making 9Ps. Thanks for playing!
