Absolutely beautiful, Roma Bauder! The yellow makes it look so cute and cheerful.

Roma and Belfrybat: I like your blocks and sashing.

I have 2 blocks finished. It's a start.

I only have seven blocks assembled so far. I am always on the slow end of things.
Wow, after gathering the few blocks from my table after Photo I saw a flipped HST! It may just stay that way, no biggie because the grand daughter won’t care.
I am still trying to get my “On Ringo Lake” completed and discovered I am two blocks short, debating on being a bit creative rather than starting the cutting process all over again on this quilt that has taken forever. I promised myself I would have it completed b-4 the Bonnie Hunter mystery clues come around this year.
Family and the dog always know when I set down at the sewing machine and instantly require my undivided attention, food or any nonsense.
Anyway, I have attached a pic of a few blocks and know they really look busy and a little darker than they actually are.
Everyone that used the white or light solid background really looks nice. Kinda wish I had done that, but used my scraps, so this is what I ended up with.

Dsenters, I think you’ll be much happier with the scrappy background color once you get your sashings in between the blocks. I think your colors are beautiful.
Roma & Belfrey, I’m glad I’m not alone in having flipped a 4 patch around. After Judy pointed it out I went back & found I did it to the 2nd block I’d finished as well, in the same spot too. So everyone, watch out that those outer 4 patches go the right way. I’m working on block 6 I think & decided to try to add some more scraps into the sashing so I’m cutting down older fabrics right now but might have to add in a little yardage.
Please, everyone, keep sharing pictures! This has been really fun!

Roma looks very nice and cheery

Desenters Crafty is right, the sashing will make the blocks stand out. And as to the non-light background, this was a scrappy quilt, and you used scraps. Way to go.

m-fay welcome to the party! Glad to see you are going to do this.

Love the pics so far. I put one square together but still working on the 4-patches. I have decided to do plain red for my sashing. Pics soon.
