How sad.How could anyone have any joy in owning them or displaying them, when they are stolen. Sure hope they find who did this and throw the book at them.

It really is hard to believe that someone would do this. I would have guilty written on my forehead if I would try and do something like that.

Oh no! How awful! Last year at a quilt group meeting I went to had someone help themselves to the quilt that was almost complete that was to be used for a raffle to be used at Christmas for Toys For Tots.

How can folks just do that .... take something that is not there's.

Those in charge of the quilt and making it assumed one of the other gals took it home to finish it off. They knew it was missing when she asked them when they would bring it to her to finish it off.

I hope they find whoever took those from your area. Better check eBay. LOL Seriously though it could happen.

If a person can walk into a Christian bookstore and steal a bible they certainly will walk into a quilt store and steal quilts.

Oh my word that is so horrible. :( I would be heartbroken I think. My LQS has such beautiful quilts on the wall, even though I didnt make them I do know the work than went in to them. :(

That is just terrible. I just can't imagine someone doing that. I guess I live a sheltered life. When my kids were little, many many moons ago, I didn't even let them get away with steeling a pack of gum. It's just a no no no, I hope they catch who ever did it.

This has happened to a big quilt store here in Indianapolis. They now have a whole lot more security but it is a shame.

They only took quilts and came back a second time.
