frankly, marcella, i'm relieved to FINALLY detect that teeeeent-tiny, microscopic speck of wonk. it took two and a half hours with the Hubble Telescope to find it, but was worth the effort.

i was starting to get a complex from all your perfection. my therapist was looking forward to the extra income, but i was afraid i was going to have to stop speaking to you.

now if we can just sneak up behind yvonne and nudge her elbow a bit while she's working on her next block ....

Patrice, I would like to thank you for posting your setting plan. I have never seen that setting before and will need to add to my growing library of plans. I love the secondary design and from the comments you have received so far, it seems i am not alone.

Well, I moved on to this next block and after looking at it I realized I have one of these made already that I did up for another BOM I am working on, so call this cheating if you want to but am going to just post a picture of that block here.... I actually ended up making a set of three of these blocks and turned it into a table runner so will post a pic of that as well! Now I can move on to the Honey Bee Block!!

Pinwheel Star or Solomons Star Block as it was called in the other BOM

Tablerunner I made with this block

That would be a molasses ginger snap cookie, I think!

I love that little stripe in your dark print. It does what the pink plaid does on Yvonne's block... adds movement.

I also like the contrast with the white background print in your pinwheel. I'm gonna re-do mine.
