    I used a program that came with my commercial embroidery machine (AMAYA XT). It is calles Design Shop V9 Plus. It allows you to resize existing patterns, and digitize new patterns.

    Your memorial picture is so beautiful. I have a small 3 inch photo of the granddaughter we lost to SIDS at 3 months. Life seemed so busy at the time and we had so few photos of the second daughter. Take lots of photos. The smile as you walk past will cover the tears that take so long to dry.

    So sorry for your loss...We lost my great neice last year at a week old. Her brain did not fully develop....you said you have done this for others...what do you charge.
