You can't blame them for wanting to be comfortable too. We are supposed to be getting a break in the heat wave, I certainly hope so. Can't get much done in this heat.

LI is hot..
My guy doesn't understand why I've been leaving him home this weekend.. Usually, I take him, and even take him for lunch.. All American, and Checkers has tables outside..
The A/C, and ceiling fans are working, so he is hanging out in the indoor dog house.. He goes out, lifts his legs, and comes in.. Doesn't deal well with the heat.. He must have princely genes in him.

I really check the weather report closly before I head off to work. If it is going to be too hot my dog will stay in her kennel in the house. We are afraid to leave her out of the kennel when we aren't home; did it once and she chewed through a cord to a lamp.

I think they have the best seats in the house.

My Squirt has a dog door. She goes out when she has to and comes right back in. Of course when it cools down in the middle of the night she wakes me wanting to go out a chase whatever she can find (or pretend to find). We had to have a little "come to Jesus" conversation about her waking me in the middle of the night.

Our Bubba (rat terrier) likes to have his own pillow on the bed.
Riley (minpin) likes to be covered up.
I enjoy every ones animal pictures on here.
