Thanks ya'll. We aren't really sure if her tail is a natural dock or not. It doesn't look like my last Stumpy-tailed Heelers tail. This one is longer and bony. Spook's was maybe as long as your thumb and had the perfect tuff of hair that made her rump completely smooth. Haven't had that close of a look at this one yet, lol.

We had a bit of a tussle between Katie and Chey yesterday. Katie wanting to show her who's yard it was. "Mommy" showed Katie who's yard it was.

In addition to the RW&B Crew we have 6 cats. 2 geriatric, 18 & 14 years old.Butterscotch and FatBoy. 3-2yr old littermates that are visiually impared. Just don't tell them that. They see better than I do! My vet was surprised that little Luna could see at all. Lucky also has a 2nd degree heart murmur and some brain stem issues. Lucy only has one eye as the other was useless and was constantly getting infected. It hurt her to keep it clean. We felt bad about the surgery until the day afterwards, I tossed her a "Lucy mouse" (little rabbit fur mouse) and she snagged it out of the air with one paw!! Last but not least is a 9month old bad little boy named Ingles. For those of you not in the NC area, Ingles is the name of a supermarket. I picked him up after he was nearly run over by a car in the parking lot. He thinks he's a big dog and wants to play with Katie and Icee my Deaf Blue Heeler and my Lethal White AussieShep/Lab cross. As someone said about their boy, Icee is blind in one eye-it never developed and has limited vision in the other. But that doesn't stop her. I'll find my video link (can I post those? It's from Youtube) I have a doggie playround in my backyard. Katie and Icee are in my avatar

ETA--we believe she is around 3 years old. She's been at the vet for awhile(her pads are soft) She's a tad on the thin side but that won't last long around her, lol. She won't be growning any bigger I don't want her to get more than 35lbs. She has already learned Sit!!

These aren't natural mutations unless she is a "stumpy" tail. However those dogs aren't real common. The cattle dog is born with a tail and they are docked hopefully at a 1-2 days of birth. She little girl doesn't have the look of a stumpy. Their ears are slightly different. Just thought I'd let you know.

We have a blue heeler and Red heeler (my avitar) love these dogs...in Arkansas you see them in pack of pick-ups..Redneck dogs. LOL But here in Alabama, you hardly every see them and when people see ours, they want to know what kind of dog it is. Funny how different breds are in the different parts of the country..here's its Labs.

I love the color of your dog and she looks so sweet.

Awww....sweet. I didn't like that her tail was taken off though. Hate it when that is done or ears clipped, etc.
