Default She followed me home - honest!

My coworker who's wife owns an antique shop picked this up at an estate sale in NE this weekend. He told me about it so I just had to go look . . .

Paid $300 - so not a steal of a deal, but in 7 months the only one I've seen locally was sold by the time I called - and it was a short bed too.

I do have a beige short bed waiting for me in GA.

Very nice. That longbed table is rare. I have the shortbed/401/500 table and I see those more often for sale.

I was expecting a short bed, and when I opened up the case, my eyes got big. Then the only question was "how big of a whole it this going to make in the checkbook"

The majority of my machines I've gotten for sweet deals, so I don't mind putting out some cash for a few to complete the collection. Even if this one wasn't technically missing from it.

The guy bought it thinking it was a FW - at least someone down there set him straight. Though I wasn't looking for another FW- when he told me it was actually a 301, I got interested.

Some people don't learn - this is the guy I got the white FW off of for $150 in June because he didn't know what it was - And He didn't know other machines came with the table so he assumed this was a FW. I've tried to educate him, but he's not that interested in machines . . .

Sweet deal! I have a black short bed in a cabinet and love mine. You will love sewing on this with the table. Enjoy.
