Thanks! Sooooo excited to hear about this foot plate for the walking foot. Have added it to my shopping list. Can't sew anything with batting without my walking foot. Love it!

Thanks for the info. I put it on my list next time I go to my Bernina dealer.

I agree, that foot is wonderful. I have a Bernina 820 and the number of the foot for that machine is #5. I also have a Janome 6500 and it has a stitch-in-the-ditch foot too. Tools, tools, wonderful tools!

I just bought a stitch in the ditch foot for my Janome. Can't wait to use it, too! SID has always been a challenge for me.
By the way, I'm standing here in the kitchen, ON THIS BOARD, with my mop in the bucket, supposed to be washing the floors. This board is such a wonderful distraction! Been washing floors for over 50 years, easy, and nothing ever distracted this Suzie Homemaker like this board does!!!

I have a SID foot for my Pfaff 2144 but can't say that I like it. Seems easier to me to just guide it with a regular presser edge stitch presser foot

I'd love seeing a picture of the foot too. I have a SID foot for my Janome but I don't think it helps hold the seams open. Sounds pretty cool!
