I think if it worked there would be no need for arthritis Drs.

I'm thinkin if you eat enough of anything soaked in gin your not going to be feeling any pain till the next morning. So I guess we better get some hang-over remedies also.

I've been trying Turmeric tabs that are supposed to work for inflammation. I take 2000 mg everyday for weeks now and really don't see the difference. I have heard of the raisin/gin combination before but didn't try it.

It works for awhile and then back to the pain again, at least that was my experience.

I don't think so - several friends from church do - There probably isn't enough gin in the raisins to do much. Maybe use them as a bedtime snack!!!LOL
I can see lots of positives from this remedy.

Alcohol makes you sleepy, so if you eat the gin soaked raisins before going to bed, you might sleep better and having a good night's sleep makes you feel good. Raisins have a lot of iron and fiber in them, which is very good for your body.

So whether they help with arthritis pain or not, you'll sleep well on them, have plenty of iron and be "regular".

In all seriousness, I do hope this remedy works for everyone. Seems like such a simple thing to do to help ease the pain.
