at first I liked the subtlety of the first one, but looking at the details of the center, I realized that the 2nd one gives you the opportunity to put in a couple of spikes of the the the very soft fairy fabric.

I agree with the coloring. Make several copies of your drawings and color them. If you have several shades of purple pencil, great, if you dont, then use a 96 box of crayons.

what I'm thinking is the large foreground starburst needs to either be split up, or it will take over, and you dont want it to do that, center needs to be the focus. If it is sunrise, or all purple, you won't see the center. What I think is make that your focus green, the brightest one (the "square" in the center). Then the spikes behind in your various purples.

Might need another purple divider like the one between the center & the first set of corners.

...maybe more ideas than you wanted. I know it will be lovely whatever you choose to do. :)

I like the second best. It seems to fit in well with the rest of the quilt.

Eye candy in progress. I like the 2nd choice. Please post when it's finished. Good eye for color.

I like the design of the first one better. It's a less-dense corner finish to the slightly more-dense center blocks' points configuration, and it keeps your eye gently moving outward off the quilt while still holding attention.

I really like it. Either will be very pretty.

Love your project, what is the name of the pattern?

I like 1, and going with the pinkish color for the flower.

That is wonderful to see a verse here. Thank you for reminding me where my strength comes from. Pattylu
