    I think it is mainly a matter of colors and fabrics. Many, probably most guys like quiet colors. My DH likes jewel tone batiks. The guys that shop at our quilt auction like patterns that incorporate wildlife and ranching pix. I see lots of quilt made with team logos. I think you're going to have to figure out what works for HIM.

    Second son's quilt began using the jewel fabrics in my stash then had to scurry to find a set of fabrics that matched the dis continued Kaufman hand dyes

    Simple 7" blocks or whatever size works too. Also denim fabric from used jeans makes a nice mans quilt, depends on the style you want.

    Simple stripes might work too, just make the whole thing stripes.

    I like the Bow Tie or Churn dash idea.They are nice man patterns. :thumbup:
