All the decals are on and she has a few spots and a couple of scratches but not really noticeable and she is a 99. After my husband checked over the wiring and made sure all was well and I oiled her her, and threaded her and she sewed a perfect stitch and the stitch regulator worked well and I could make teeny tiny stitches and great big stitches. Quietly, quietly, quietly... a joy.

...and she's lucky to have you for an owner. You seem truly loving and concerned about your ownership of "Penny". I'm willing to bet that she'll be your main piecing machine now that she's had her "toilette" (oiled and ready to go). Continued good luck and happy quilting.

I soooo love these old Singers! In case of a fire, the love of my life knows to rescue my Singer if possible and leave all the rest of my stuff alone if necessary....it can be replaced. My 1941 Singer cannot! :)
