Picture the fabric in the quilt. It makes it easier to cut instead of having a folded piece of fabric.

I have several pieces of fabric that I take off the shelf, look and pet it, and put it back. But I have pledged to start using my stash so that I can enjoy it in a quilt. Not that I intend to leave anytime soon. LOL. Go for it, you'll love it when it is made into a quilt. And be sure to post pictures.

wow, those are gorgeous fabrics. I'd probably have a hard time cutting them up as well!

Yes I've procrastinated on cutting a fabric that I love; but your farther along than you realize. You've got the pattern and all the fabric; your ready to sew. Just do it! You'll have a great sense of accomplishment when you finished.

Beautiful fabrics. I hope you will soon be making the quilt and posting for us to see!

My friend made one with the first fabric on the left...it was so nice! She also used it for her backing.

OMGosh! If I had the fabric and the pattern I would not be able to resist ... I've never had that problem!

Gorgeous fabric, exciting pattern and wonderful border fabric to give you the appearance of many borders in one. I usually wait until I am ready to work with the fabrics I love. Inspiration does eventually come and then I can't wait to finish it.

If you absolutely don't want to cut it up into even large pieces, you can always use it for the backing. Good luck in whatever you decide!
