I don't think our quilting and crafting were in our vows either!

It's so nice that he has time and talent combined. He does beautiful work and you both are very special to each other - it shows!

He is a keeper, mine is handy with tools as well and I intend to keep him. (he has also taken up cooking ! However with tough economic times maybe you could barter his time for more fabric for your stash.

Thanks for sharing the photos of the items your dh has made. They look great. Such a nice dh.

Mine is pretty helpful also. He has made templates for me; hung up some dowels from the ceiling for my ribbons; made a rack to hang my scissors and rotary cutters on; added shelves to the wall for things; modified a desk so my machine sits down in it rather than on top. It's wonderful having a live-in handyman.

I have one of those handy "guys" too & I must admit I really should be more appreciative. My DH is so handy & even more so since I started quilting. When all I did was sew, he was helpful but not as much as now that I quilt. We are very lucky ladies to have such talent in the family. Koodos to them.

That is such a good idea. I'll have my husband make one for me. He can build just about anything.
