She recommended Decor Bond by Pellon and that is what I used. I also used some lightweight Pellon for the zippered pocket. My lining fabric is much lighter weight and I wanted that pocket to hold up well.
I want Geta to be swamped with requests. These are excellent patterns!

I've made 6 using the pattern for the 2nd one you showed. They all get compliments every time they are used. I even had one woman chase me down in Wal-Mart to ask where I bought my purse. She couldn't believe I made it. I use extra stiff interfacing (I used quilter's cotton material) since I like them to hold their shape. They do soften up some after washing. I absolutely love this pattern and making the purses. For one, I shrunk the size to about 75% and made one with Hello Kitty for a little girl. She loves it so much that when she isn't using it she has her Mom put in away so the other children can't bother it. Greta does such a great job with her patterns. They are so easy to follow. I'm hoping she makes some more.
