Ready to stop for the night. Have a family gathering here in the early AM. Will be back by 12 when they all get on the road...Finished the 2 Bow Tucks bags, and assembled the base blocks for a D9P..Tommorrow I hope to recut these blocks and sew the rest of the top together. Then I have some border choices to make...

I did actually join in yesterday (Saturday) even though I thought we were starting today. I have 3 more rows of 10 HSTs to sew together then seam the rows. Three sets of rows are seamed in the photo. Once I get the last 3 rows seamed I can put them all together and start adding borders.

I had wanted to work on this yesterday, but ended up spending the day with my DD and GKs. We had a great time. This is a friendship braid quilt I'm making using a jelly roll. Just need to stitch the last group together and then add the borders. Hopefully I will have time to start FMQ on it.

Yay!! I was hoping there's be some kind of extra motivation for me today - I have to baste and start quilting a baby quilt that has to be done by end of May, and another project for a reservist soldier from work - need to sew a sheet to his blanket and kind of "quilt" them together. Getting on them in a minute!! Be watching to see everyone's "stuff"!! And, maybe most importantly, I have cookies for snacking later!! Have fun all!

I will be quilting on my Longarm a Grandmother's fan that I started several years ago, and just did not like at the time. I got it out last week and looked it over again. I like it again and hope I can finish it this week.
