Beautiful quilt and if you're happy with the deal you made, that's all that matters.

Congrats! You had the fun of making it and have some money to buy more fabrics!

It's easy for people to say, "You sold it too cheap".... but try selling a quilt in today's economy! I'd like to know where people are who will pay more than $300 for a quilt.

Congrats on the sale! If the price was good to you, that's all that matters. As long as you can recoup the cost of your materials plus a little extra, sometimes that is all that matters. Now you can either put that money back into your savings or use it for more material!

It's a beautiful quilt, however you might consider charging more for your quilts in the future, as you may have just covered the cost of materials to make the quilt. If it was for a friend or relative I can understand the pricing, but you need to at least get back what you put into the quilt, although it is nice to be paid for doing something we love.

I get more than $300 for quilting a top.

I don't apologize for my art, my God given talent or my prices.

Many people from all over are willing to pay a premium for a quality product. Just sayin.

If you a happy with the price, then it's a fair price. But ongoing, just know that a handmade quilt is more valuable than that, so if you choose to value your work with a higher price, you would not be out of line.
