My 2014 Resolution is to learn my embroidery machine, organize my supplies to find everythingfaster, teach my friend to quilt, and take care of my aging parents. I am hoping that my friend and I can do some awesome project together to raffle off for a cancer program we are active in. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my cyber friends!!! May we all remember the Reason for the Season!! GramTam

Hum, Resolution. Well I have made many in the past years, but somehow by February I resolve to give up. I will say that I am determined to keep one quilt a year. ( so in some respect this is my resolution) I think it was on someones blog where she stated she decided that she would treat herself on her Birthday to a quilt every year, cause like most of us they walk out the door, and that stuck with me. . So, Okay, I will attempt to make ME a quilt for my birthday (sept).

I resolve not to make any New Years Resolutions. I never keep them anyway.

I resolve not to write 2013 for the year anymore. I make a similar resolution every year. Have I ever been successful? Nope...

    I have the same goal.

In my plans are 4 t-shirt quilts (memory quilts) from my xH's shirts. He sadly passes away in May. Children are missing him. Want to get those started in January. This year I made quilts for my parents. After those 4 t shirt quilts, I want to do a quilt for each of my 2 siblings and then one for ME!!!

I normally don't make resolutions because I can never keep them anyway. But I do have intentions of cleaning out my sewing area of books and patterns I am never going to use. Probably so I can just add more, because that is why I need to make room again. I have one quilt laying in there I need to finish. But I just cannot get in the mood for it. But I must!! Other than that, I just hope 2014 is better than 2013 for everyone.
