I don't really see the need for Craftsy classes. There are many, many FREE videos on u-tube and you can pick and choose which ones you think will be beneficial to you. I purchased one class from Craftsy and thought it was sort of a dud. Will not likely purchase any more.

Try a free class to get a feel for them. They also have sales occasionally where you can get classes for $9.99 and $14.99. You can view them as many times as you wish anytime day or night.

I also like the Craftsy classes. I have purchased several when they were on sale. Now someone needs to sell me the time to do them LOL! Seriously, I like that they are always there and I will be able to watch them when I get some time. I really want to find the time to do the one on Color and start there.

I have signed up for several Craftsy classes and have learned a great deal from them. My favorites have been the ones from Cindy Needham because I identify with her philosophy and I like the things she makes. I also have enjoyed the Color class and have learned a whole new perspective about color-good for me. However, it has been the most time consuming because I have done the learning exercises and that takes time. I always print out the materials and have them in a notebook. Some classes take me a long to do because I like to do the exercises recommended I'm working on Carol Doak's paper piecing right now. I always buy them on sale and I love not having to pack up stuff and go somewhere.

I really like their classes and the price isn't too bad and try to get them when they are on sale. They always have quite a few free classes that I enjoy.
Try signing up for one of their free classes first and go from there. Really liked the BOM 2012 and 2013 (still available) but not really into the 2014 class yet. Once you take a class its available for every.

I purchased a couple of the classes and what I like was the ability to go back and refer repeatedly to the class.

The classes I've taken have been good. I wait until they are sale instead of paying full price. I would recommend you listen to the trailer Craftsy posts re. the class to make sure you enjoy the instructor. I have one whose voice drives me nuts. I wish I had known that before I signed up.

I've taken all the Free Block of the Month Quilting classes and have been very pleased...can stop and start the video if I need to look closer, can do step by step and I've made blocks that I NEVER would have attempted and have been very happy with the classes
