    Welcome from Southwestern Minnesota! Whereabouts in England do you live? My younger sister practice taught in England years ago and still keeps in touch with her family there. Sis now lives, teaches, (and quilts!) in Montana.

    I live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Yorkshire is known as Gods Own County, it's a beautiful area. Bit short on patchwork shops though!

    You going to Birmingham NEC? I'm going Thursday and Friday, can't wait. Staying at Premier Inn Wednesday and Thursday night. I'm going with a quilting friend, and we're both going armed with a list a mile long!

    The top is made but it's not sandwiched yet. I really enjoyed working with reds - a proper feel good colour. Will try and photograph it tomorrow.
