What a test of patience and persistence! I think Cathedral windows quilts are in a class of their own. Yours is beauty. My hats off to you on this incredible work.

Great job..Beautiful...for me "just sitting" is more of a challenge than anything else...when someone tells me just rest it's like waving a red flag....just not in my nature...What's the next keep them hands busy?

I started one for our vacation trip this year, made up lots of squares ready to go. About halfway through the third one I switched to crocheting. I hope I get started back sometime, but apparently didn't have the patience this trip. Yours is beautiful.

Lovely. Do you know how long it took to finish? I might have to put it on my list!

Can you give me an estimate of how much of the background fabric you needed? I have ten yards of unbleached muslin earmarked for this project. I hope it is enough. I want to make a Queen sized bedspread with this pattern.

Would you mind posting a larger picture of your CWQ? (Your avatar quilt) I have never seen one using a black background. Gorgeous.

nevermind, I found it in the quilt gallery. Fabulous!

Beautiful quilt. One of my favorites, but don't think I will ever try it.
