They have lots of colors. They have a good one for quilting too called King Tut. I love their threads.
i use king tut whenever i find a sale on it anywhere. when i bought the lizzie, that's the one he recommended. can you use regular thread on top and bobbin thread underneath? i've always used the same on both.

Most definitely. That's what Bottom Line is for.

My sidewinder won't wind Viking bobbins so that was a waste of money for me. I just do 4 or 5 bobbins at a time and then I'm ready.

But I have a old singer Athena 2000 sewing machine and the bobbins they say won't work on this bobbin winder.

The threads you are talking about, are they only for quilting or can they be used for sewing other things also, as I do a lot of mending for family and other sewing.
thanks myra

Try Bottom Line by Superior. It's thin and therefore more on the bobbin. Light gray will work with anything.

I wind 5-10 bobbins ahead of time, before I start machine quilting. I went through over 10 bobbins on my last queen sized quilt. I change them, when they are just about out and I'm beginning a new row.

Good solution for scrap threads. Does anyone have any other ideas. I have lots of bobbins with just a little thread left on them. I would like to know what everyone else does with th left over thread.
