    If I am not sure whether a bed sized quilt will be used I make a wall hanging or a throw quilt as a gift.

    My how cozy that would be. They can use it by the fire place or snuggled up on the couch to watch a favorite movie. As years go by they might even want to lay it on the floor and sit with a little one. That quilt will have lots of memories.

    I have finished and sent off two throw size quilts to my two GD's for wedding gifts!
    They were manageable on my DSM. Still waiting to here from the girls

    Why not make a picnic quilt and add a matching picnic tote. Picnics are very romantic.
