Great idea !! I use a plastic coffee can on the floor and then it comes up to the machine !!

The wrap around the wrist sounds pretty cool, may have to try that one! I tried the toilet paper tube around my neck, bout choked myself to death before it was over with! LOL! I just pile it up on top of the quilt, pull a little at a time, and keep throwing it back up on top of the quilt.

I have been just rolling mine up, dropping it into an empty plastic coffee can near my left foot, and just letting it feed as I sew. Works for me. Your idea would work for binding small quilts quite nicely.

I let mine fall to the floor, stepping on it rolling my chair over it...I have one of those pincushion and bag combos, might need to give it a whirl!

An excellent idea; I roll mine around my fingers on left hand then rest the bundle on my lap, but it still manages to twist as it unrolls!
