    Have you every seen/made any disappearing blocks? I know these aren't 4 patches but maybe you could experiment & come up with a nice disappearing block from these. Just cut them up & rearrange the cut pieces to something unusual & pleasing to you.

    I also recognize several of those fabrics. I think Luana's quilt is beautiful and the easiest answer for using these blocks. I think the on-point setting is very striking. Or, cutting the squares would make modern looking designs. Remember you look at the squares with 'different eyes' than the original maker. Fun opportunity for a small amount of cost. We will be anxious to see what you do.

    If there are the same number of squares with dark corners as light, I'd just sew the blocks directly to each other (no sashing) with the dark corners and light corners alternated.

    I also like the idea of cutting into 4-patches...
