I really love the tree skirt. Where did you get the pattern? I have been looking for a pieced tree skirt pattern for quite awhile. All I ever find is applique, which I don't have a desire to do. I would love to attempt this pattern.

Thanks,
csmomma

She got hers at her lqs. I did find it online but only as a kit.
I am working on a few pieced quilts.

I am going to be making this one.... (and yes, it includes the templates to make the tree skirt as well as the math behind it so you can make stars of any size) It's called the Golden Ratio Tree skirt - there are some customer pics of it as well that you can click to see.

There is also this one out there... http://ajpadilla.com/patterns/seasonal/christmas/tree-skirts/diamond-log-cabin-tree-skirt[url]

Okay. I know I have links for a few others but they are out there. The one I am working on right now is out of a book but I don't have it right next to me so I don't think I could tell you which one it is....

There is also one here on emblibrary that is basic but pieced. My friend and I started it but made is really really really busy so we shelved it for a little bit. Of course I can't seem to find a direct link to that one either right now... sigh. I'll keep looking!

As I told a friend of mine you can probably take any quilt block you like and turn it in to a tree skirt though :)

It is a thimbleberries pattern called Santa town square. It's really a wallhanging I turned into a skirt.
