The other colors in the quilt, are those a colored denim or a very heavy cotton? Love the quilts!! I have a lot of denim I've cut the seams but saved and kept the pockets attached. I do save the part of the front pockets attached also.

These are beautiful children and beautiful quilts.

I made a denim quilt, I don't know the name of the pattern, but it has a square in a circle and you sew the circles together. There wasn't any batting in it, but boy was it heavy. With that experience, I must say you have probably built up muscles that you didn't know that you had making those quilts. LOL!

Great quilts. One of my SIL's has made several denim quilts using flannel as backing. She also used pockets and they are quite warm, especially for SD winters.
