Hope to send my package out today or tomorrow. Did order one of her requested items which may be delivered before my package. I've had you before and like Marietta said, you live north of me but being in South Central Texas, nearly everyone does! Hope everyone is staying warm...

Won't get mine sent till first part of next week. But even with the slow mail I am sure it will get there in plenty of time :-).
Hi heronfan, you must be freezing, lol. I live on the coast about an hour south of Houston/Galveston, and we are all holed up down here ha. But then again, temp gets 40 or below and things tend to come to a stand still, We are just not used to the real cold. Hubby has a deer lease up nw of you between Camp Wood and Leakey, It's nice up there...But I don't go anymore, that 6-8 hr drive is just too long for me anymore, and then the 45 min drive from the main road to the cabin...Nope..lol. Sorry rambling here.
Altho I do think us swappers should chat more, It's one of the reason I joined the swap. And I know its not required but it would be fun to see what everyone gets and for those that actually posted a pic or said what they've received, It's actually helped me in the past to Not send my current swap pal the exact same thing she just received. Just my opinion.
Ok so time for me to start decorating for Christmas and gathering and shopping for my secret pal...Her most wanted item is at JoAnn's an hour away, next to a Mall that most of the roads are under construction...geez...who plans out a thing like that knowing half way into the construction project It's going to be nothing but crazyshoppers and traffic?
hmmmmm, But then again...I could just order and have it shipped to her...??? hmmmm
Stay warm, Blessings to all, and Be kind, Kindness I've found is everything

I mailed my package today so can now concentrate on an anything homemade swap I'm participating in on another board. It was snowing here yesterday with a wind chill of 18. Much too cold for those of us in the south with "thin blood". Today is mid-30's -- still too cold but blessedly windless.

Belfrybat - mid 30's is cold for your area - I was born in Abilene - we lived in an oil camp out of Baird - but my dad's family was centered around Abilene. We later moved to the oilfield area around Andrews - I still feel Texan - even though we have lived elsewhere for a really long time - I miss so many Texas things.

I see that there are several Texas people in this swap - One lives near my sister who lives in Jourdanton and teaches in Pleasanton. I love the SA area -

    Default Thank you lovethemgreys!

I received my package from lovethemgreys yesterday. A beautiful pattern, a large pot holder (matches my kitchen), a adorable case, a yo-yo maker, three fabrics, a lovely bookmark, and a nice note!

Many thanks for a wonderful package-I will use everything in it!
