WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DRESS...and how special that you and your friend "shared" it and both added a special touch!! Do you still have it? Did you have a daughter that can wear it too" OH MY how lucky you are and you looked perfect :)

Thanks Amma. I was wondering about that. Do we loose all of our previous comments? Is it as easy to send photos? I'm always a little nervous about change.

    What a special story.

I am so happy that you are getting in touch with your friend. It will

probably feel like you just talked to each other yesterday!

Yes it probably will Pal. No I don't have it. Since I borrowed it from her she took it back. I have the top to mine and my daughter would not want to wear it anyway. It is not her style. Actually I love the idea of passing things like this down but I would feel awful if she felt obligated to wear it cause I saved it for so many years for her. She wore the gown home from the hospital that her dad wore home too. She can choose to put it on her kids or not. That will be her choice. Of course I hope she does use it but I will not be hurt if she doesn't. I made her Christening gown and I hope she uses it too but again it will be her choice.

Karen..do try to rekindle the friendship. When I went to my 50th class reunion, I met a friend with whom I went through grammar school and also high school.

In high school we were separated since she was a "B"..and I was a "Z" ........we had no classes together......but for the last seven years since our reunion, we have corresponded quite often and it is so wonderful to have found a long lost friend.

    You won't regret the search.....MaryJane
