This brought tears to my eyes. A lot of sewing memories.

Very sad time. I loved watching her show back when it was on my local PBS station. She taught a lot of folks to sew and to have fun doing it.

Default Nancy Zieman has passed away

Just got an email saying that Nancy has passed away. So very sad. I've watched her shows for years. What a fighter and inspiration she was to us all.

Aww, so sad. I'm really sorry to hear this. What a legend in the sewing and quilting world.

We knew she retired because her cancer was untreatable, but, still, to hear the actual news made me a bit weepy and I have never even met Nancy. I have watched her almost from the beginning and have learned so much from her. If anyone gets the chance, read her book "Seams Unlikely". I got it from the library. Definitely worth the read. She had a rough life as far as physical maladies go.
