This looks like a dynamite quilt. Am sure you'll find the way to finish it, and PLEASE! show it again in the final form. (I've never used any of these techniques so don't have a single idea to add to your project)

I really like your layout. I'm curious - did you cut the different colors in different places or did you cut them at the same repeat point?

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

I cut them all over the place LOL I know you are supposed to cut in the exact same place for all the repeats but I don't like following that many rules! I also wanted more of a variety of blocks!

Thanks for the encouraging words all!

Is this the same fabric in two color ways, of is it two totally different fabrics? I LIKE it!!

It is the same fabric - one with a purple background (yes, I know, it looks black, but it's not), and the other is the teal background

Absolutely LOVE your spiral layout. Stroke of genius to use two fabrics so you could get that affect.

Yours is beautiful. Ordinarily I like the S&W way to do this technique, but really like your design.

S&W or SAW ... normally refers to stacking 8 layers of fabric for an 8-sided block.
OBW ... as you know, One Block Wonder using 6 layers for hexies.
4PP ... Four Patch Posey uses only 4 layers, cut in squares, and formed back into squares.

All the same basic techniques, for kaleidoscope-like blocks.

Now ... have I given you some more rabbits to chase?
    Yup!! I bet I did .............

I have no experience with these quilts but I do love the way yours looks just as it is.
