    Yes I do use the backs sometimes. Our officers challenge a couple of years ago involved a piece of ugly fabric. we were to make a wall hanging using it. We had to use at least half of it. I can't remember what the theme was. I was accused of not using enough of the ugly fabric. I had actually used almost all of it. I made a garden and the back was a nice green color. I also fussy cut some of the flowers on the front. I won for the best wall hanging and also the prize for most unique use of the fabric.

    Yup...on several occasions when I needed something light(er) and maybe a time or two when I hadn’t plan to use the the other side but didn’t catch it until it was too late to rip it out. LOL

    All the time. Sometimes I just want a muted version of the front. I did pay for both sides of the fabric so I'm going to use them both. LOL

    I do it fairly frequently with batiks, sometimes the backside is just the perfect tone.
