And good for you for stretching and doing something that you knew would be hard. I find that I need to keep learning new techniques and patterns. It keeps my mind working.

I like the choice of some light triangles toward the edges of the star points -- gives it kind of a curved shape to my eye.

I love your quilt and congratulations for going out of your comfort zone. And you are correct that the things you learned on this one will make the next one even better.
