    That is my favorite QOV so far. Nice color placement, and I really like the star sashing.

    Love your version of a QOV. I think I might try one like this too. I have a naval nephew that has been serving many years. A while back I made a log cabin with this type sashing from a pattern by quilt in a day. Elenore Burns.

    The funny thing about the "mistake row" is, I like the placement of the dark going that way best.

    Beautiful quilt! I'm sure he'll treasure it. VN vets deserve our respect. They were not appreciated properly in the past.
