    Oh you have just dipped your toe into the FMQ waters. Soon you will try it again, then you will take all the lessons learned and get results that please you! Keep practicing. This is a lovely top by the way!

    The only one who hasn't been in the same boat, haven't yet set sail. Congratulations on your first step. Just keep at it and it will get easier and easier. I still sit for days getting up the gumption to move forward and start, but once I sit at the machine it just seems to flow. Take a small break and then practice on a small panel doing outline and fill ins. That was my favorite way to practice.

    Your quilt looks great and there is no galloping horse around here!! Yes, we are often too hard on ourselves. I am learning so much from just doing it. Love your color choice for this pattern. Great job!!

    I adore this quilt. The colors of your individual stars work out great with the tan and brown background. Your piecing is perfect.
