Love the quilt , great find, those who don't yard sale are missing out, I found 15 hardback quilt books recently paid less than $2.00 for each, also found several real nice top sheets to use for backing I like recycling old clothes and any other item that i can think of a use for.

Sewbaby, that's exactly as I feel. I hardly ever pay more than $1 to $3 for backings (sheets). I find nice quilting fabric at thrift stores and have used men's shirts, ladies skirts etc. many times. That's not to say I don't buy any retail fabric, but always on sale. I almost always make scrappy quilts so it's easy to use all those fabrics that were originally paid for by other quilters. I won't ever run out of fabric.

I understand I have had to start using the vaccum bags to put my blankets and such in till i'm ready to use them. Have to be careful or the darn things will take over in a hurry
