    I've used peroxide straight from the bottle -- it works. Doesn't bleach colors. I'm using a quilt that is at least 10 or 12 years old. No spots or weakened fabric.

    Peroxide is great for removing blood stains. If it's fresh and i'm guessing at this stage it's not (for future use) the peroxide will foam then you can wash it with a little cold water and a soft scrubbie. Hope this helps Peterparley
