I am looking at buying a new viking sometime soon. The local dealer is selling her shop, but will still be doing service/maintenance on the machines. The owners are wanting to mainly retire, but keep that part of the business. I am hoping to get a good deal on a embroidery/sewing machine...either new or used. I am hoping to be able to make it into the store this coming week. I really miss having the embroidery capabilities of my poor Bernina (RIP)...but I am in love with the new Kenmore sewing machine that was gifted to me to replace her. Sews beautifully..now if I could figure out how to attach the walking and darning foot!! Then, I would be a happy camper. Love your machine and good luck!

If your 835 gives you as much joy as my 870 does for me, then you will have a long and happy relationship!

    Congratulations.

OHH, you go girl. I want a new one so bad, I am holding out for the diamond. just not ready to spend so much yet. I am still paying off my handiquilter. Wonderful, I hope you make lots of wonderful things with your machine.

    Take care
