Where do you go for your retreat in Wisconsin? I have relatives all over WI so you never know, I may be able to combine a trip like that. My youngest graduates from H.S. in a month and will be off to college. That means I will have a bit more flexibility in my schedule!

Hi Marlys, We go to Amery Wisconsin. About an hour from where I live in the Lake Elmo/Stillwater, MN area. It is called Camp Wappogasset (a bible camp, but very nice with a large bright room for sewing). Everyone brings their machines, ironing boards (small ones), projects and lots of other stuff. They don't provide bedding or linens so we bring that too. We do get lunch and dinner but most bring something light for in the morning. It is a blast. You should consider it. Jeanne from MN

Jeanne:
I will definitely bookmark it. Can you tell me costs and when I would have to let you know if I could come or not? I appreciate it!

Hi Marlys,

I think it was about $150 and you would probably have to decide by the end of August, so think about it. Jeanne from MN

Hello from Fargo, N.D & welcome. Can you pm as to where you live? I always like to see if someone is close by to me. Thanks!

Hi Fritzy from Fargo, I live in Lake Elmo (right next to Stillwater) in MN. It is a beautiful suburb of St Paul. Jeanne

That is pretty reasonable. I should know sometime in August whether I can swing that or not. Thanks for the info!
