Yes, I have made this pattern. The directins are great. Every one that I have seem has turned out great. It's quick and easy to follow and looks like a lot more work than it really is.

I have never seen this pattern before. What is it called and where do you get it?

Believe me, you don't get much more beginner than my wife and me. We are working on a quilt for her nephew with guitars in the YBR pattern and it is one of her favorites that we have done so far. Yours will turn out great too; it looks more complicated than it is.

Gilla -

It is by Atkinson Designs. Here is the website:

http://www.atkinsondesigns.com/patterns/

We have seen it in several quilt shops, so you may find it there also.

I've made a few for baby girls in pale pinks and soft mint green with ivory background - very soft and feminine looking - I used pink or light green minkie fabric for the backing. Soft and snuggly.

Don't hate me.....I bought the pattern, just HAD to have it and I haven't used it yet. But now reading this thread, I'll have to get it out and check out some fabrics I have if I have enough. Just thought it may work to make for my best friend. She braved the crowds of Paducah, where she lives, and went to the show for me. She told me her favorite colors, cobalt blue, bright yellow and white. I think this pattern would be perfect!

BTW, GREAT pics. Love 'em!

Just beautiful! I love your color choices. I've had the pattern for a number of years now, but I'm putting it at the top of my list after seeing yours!
