I think it looks great as is. 60 x 72 is an ample lap quilt so I wouldn't worry.

Looks great! I think the size is just fine. I agree that a fancy border might distract from the beautiful braids! You have great taste in colors. I'd use just what you have there and finish off with either purple or the darker green for a binding.

it is beautiful and i think the size is ok...if you want it bigger maybe you could use 6" borders instead of 4"? that would add 4 more inches around...but really it is a good size for a throw quilt.

I think the border is perfect. The darker sashing/borders you have used makes the braids pop.
