    I'd like to make it a felony to dump a living animal where it
    is sure to die from cars, other animals or starvation. Or at least put it in the newspaper with their pictures and names.

    We've always had rescue fur babies, and loved all of them. Now I have two rescue cats, one from here and one brought to me from Texas by my granddaughter on a plane. Love both of them, one a dark half Siamese with white chest, the other a timid, lovely long haired white Persian. Original owner's loss, my gain.
