ok, this will sound odd BUT its true. WALMART get fabric from several sources. They can have a fabric in their reg line that's $4.00 a yd., they could then order the cheap assortment $2.00 a yd AND get the SAME LOOKING FABRIC IN! It doesn't mean the 4.00 should be reduced- different supplier/ may be older stock/dif. quaility. Walmart has (or had)"mark down"$$$, so if a dept head gets behind --its possible she wasn't able to markdown on time. Also possible she marked down & it blew out the door! Have been in ours-before the quit sellingit-- where people had 1-2 loaded carts--buying tond for project linius/cancer patient quilts, ect.--Even they need to save when you can!!

I think WALMART SHOULD HAVE A NATIONAL LIST AS TO WHAT STORES STILL HAVE FABRIC, so WE don't have to waste our vacation time visiting WALMARTs WITHOUT THE"GOODS"!!!LOL!

You've been very lucky in the bargains lately. Lucky you. Great finds.

Oooh! You are so fortunate. Whenever we visit anywhere in the States, I head for the nearest Walmart, but am finding that lots of them don't carry fabric any longer. Our Walmart is in the process of becoming a Super Walmart, and don't carry fabric any more. I always headed there first when I needed something. They say they will be carrying pre-cut fabrics, all pre-packed. I don't know how that will work (if it ever happens)

Oh yes, another thing about Walmart - fabric that costs $3.97 USD costs us $8.97 CAD! Not fair eh??

I'm happy for you! Our Wal-Mart locally has fabric, but it's somewhat limited.

The $2.00 fabric is David textiles. That would be the polka dot one.
