What Child is This is not just my favorite Christmas song, but of all times. I have a collection of different CD's just to hear this song played in different arrangements. As a harp student, this year it was the ultimate goal to learn how to play this song. I am half way there. I had shoulder surgery in September so brought it to a halt. I am starting up again, and just play half of the song over and over again - and make up the rest as I go.

It isn't necessarily a Christmas song but "Ave Maria" always brings tears to my eyes. It was sung at my wedding, my kids's weddings and my mom and dad's funerals. Other than that I like "I'll be home for Christmas" because all my kiddos are here for the holidays.

For church service, I love O'Holy Night. On the radio I love classics, like Bing Crosby and the newer stuff too. Magic 96.5 plays x-mas all day , so I have really been enjoying it. I was a teen in the eighties, so I love Band Aid's, "Do They Know It's Christmas"...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5cX_ncZLls

And Trans Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Cannon ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NY4J8...eature=related :-D

And let's not forget...I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7xjjlUbpJ4

I like Oh Holy Night and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

We also have Hark the Herald Angels Sing sung by Andy Williams on some random album. It's not usually a favorite of mine but I love his rendition.
