    Names of the patterns are:

The first picture is called Shadow Box http://www.ericas.com/quilting/patterns/39955b.jpg

The second picture is called the Paradigm Shift which was featured in McCalls Quilting May/June2010 issue they have the free pillow pattern for this quilt here http://www.mccallsquilting.com/articles/Paradigm_Shift

Mountainpeek Creations and the pattern is 312 Shadowbox. $8 and they will send it to your email address.

I want to make a graduation quilt for one of our grandsons. I have gathered a good number of feature fabrics to put in the Shadowboxes. Hopefully that will work.

I love, love, love the first quilt - what a great 3-D effect - great job. I love the second one as well - I've been thinking about my next family reunion quilt and was thinking about a white and black one and that pattern would be perfect. I know my daughter would love the black and white one. Great job and very, very nice quilts - which I were a lucky recipient of either one - can I join your family? lol
